Josh Fingerhut

Before picking up a camera, Josh Fingerhut was an actor, a storyteller and creative. His time was spent in front of the camera or behind the scenes as a writer and collaborator. Whatever his role, his artistic exploration often delved deep into identity and truth. His work with a camera began during a turbulent time, motivated by necessity rather than art, but this was only the beginning. After four years his path would clear and he would begin to understand the power of this medium.

He met mentors and guides who helped spurred growth and evolution through honest feedback and instruction. Josh has continued to explore photography and more specifically portraiture with a deeper understanding of the art form and an openness and honesty for with his subjects that always results in images with depth and authenticity.
